Dressing To Impress!

I don’t believe in four - leaf clovers, or a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow; but I do believe in the power of clothes. Clothes dated way back when Adam and Eve ate that apple, correct me if I’m wrong, because every story told about them was that the first thing they noticed was they’re stark naked; and I think that’s one of the oldest history of clothing ever recorded.

You might wonder why dressing to impress is important. Why is it that some people worry so much of the way they look? Let me tell you this: clothes depict social status, it speaks louder than actions and does more justice than words. Clothes are universal, like the English tongue we speak, it is understood throughout the universe, that even aliens wear futuristic clothing. Some people think that we look ridiculous wearing latest season Chanel and a Birkin bag, but truth be told, you look more ridiculous than those clogs your grandmother used to wear. Everywhere you go anything you do, whether unconscious or not—involve fashion. In a job interview, men wear their best tie; in a date, women wear their best dress; even in a casket, we all want to look good in our death clothes. Looks can be very deceiving, and that is true; if you want to be someone else without investing too much money then invest in fashion because the beauty of fashion, is that you can be whoever you want to be with just a piece of clothing.

Charles Hix once said, “Looking good isn’t self-importance; it’s self-respect.” What that passage simply means is that if you want to earn respect, then start with the way you dress, because people say that one of the best attention you can ever get is respect. And I guess through that simple passage I have made my point of why dressing to impress is important. Looking good is like power at the palm of your hands, and all you have to do is to wrap your fingers around it and take a hold of it.
