... And the rest is PARFUM!

I'm a big fan of perfumes, they are the real deal. From Givenchy to Versace, I am totally sold! One thing that compliments an outfit is of course—not shoes, but perfumes. Hello?! Who wants to wear designer outfit yet smells like soiled socks? Coco Chanel once said, "A woman/man who doesn't wear perfume has no future." WHATCHA SAY??? Perfumes are a good investment because you just don't want to pass by people and leave them with a mental picture in their mind of how good you look in your latest season Chanel ensemble; and if you coated it with a little spray of Chanel No. 5—oh dear, they'll dream about you.

5. Calvin Klein One Summer

Sephora's description of CK One Summer:

One Summer is a refreshing, sun-drenched citrus fragrance to be shared by both men and women. The limited-edition scent reflects the ultimate relaxed summer moment: basking in the sun sipping a cool gin and tonic surrounded by endless blue sky, white sand, and azure water.

Notes:

Gin and Tonic With a Lemon Lime Twist, Juniper Berry, Star Anise, Sexy Musk, Amberwood.
Style:
Invigorating. Carefree. Paradisial.

First time I came across with CK One Summer was when I was with my dad in Duty Free and when I smelled it, I fell in love with it right away; I also fell inlove with the color of the bottle because it's very attractive. As what you can see in my set-up above, I can really see myself wearing this while on vacation. The scent reminds me of sipping pina colada on the beach while getting a well-deserved tan. One spray of CK One Summer and you'll smell like a walking citrus fruit. One thing I hate about this though is that the smell doesn't last that long thinking when in summer you tend to sweat a lot which makes its longevity last 1-2 hours later.

4. Givenchy Pi Neo

Sephora's Description of Givenchy Pi Neo:

Givenchy's new fragrance, Pi Neo, plays with the limits of time, space, and matter. Inspired by the movie The Matrix, this futuristic, adventurous men's fragrance uses notes of toscanol, myrtle, and patchouli to create the illusion of a virtual world.

Notes:
Toscanol, Myrtle, Patchouli, Mandarin, Bergamot, Myrrh, Cedar.
Style:
Innovative. Scientific. Precise.

Actually this perfume belongs to my dad, it was a gift set from my uncle to my dad. It came in this special Christmas gift set and inside were two same sized Pi Neo perfume and the only difference was their spray nozzles; one was for spraying and the other one was for dabbing. I didn't like the smell of Pi Neo first because I thought it was very strong and manly either way I still asked my dad if I can have it since he had two of them and he said yes immediately! I love the bottle of Pi Neo because it is very geometric and angular which is really perfect for a more manly and edgy look. The scent lasts like forever. I'am like wearing Pi Neo now while typing, I sprayed it at 3pm and then it's already 8:12 pm and the scent is still there. Givenchy Pi Neo is really the dream perfume of those who love expensive scents yet doesn't want to buy another bottle a month later because it didn't last long; my point is, Givenchy Pi Neo doesn't give you the hassle of respraying the perfume because it's longevity is good enough to last you the whole day. Just spray the right parts of your body and it will do you good. Chanel once said, "A woman wears perfume where she wants to be kissed." Now men, don't take advantage of this because I know what you'll probably spray! DON'T LIE!

3. Yves Saint Laurent Opium Pour Homme

As what www.fragrantica.com describes Opium Pour Homme:

Opium Pour Homme by Yves Saint Laurent is a Oriental Spicy fragrance for men.Opium Pour Homme was launched in 1995. The nose behind this fragrance is Jacques Cavallier. Top notes are black currant and star anise; middle notes are galanga and pepper; base notes are tolu balsam, atlas cedar and bourbon vanilla.

This is vintage, when it was passed from my dad to me, I only have like a third of the perfume left. As what was mentioned above, it was launched in 1995. I believe this scent hasn't been relaunched because I have noticed that as years pass by they make another Opium scent with different notes. The scent of Opium Pour Homme is very strong, it gets into your nose when you first spray it but as it marries with your skin over time the scent becomes more pleasant and, to be honest, the smell is like radiating everywhere even if you sprayed so little. Wearing this reminds me of black tie events because the scent is very classy and it fits for men who wear suits to bed and woke up to black tie parties. By just the smell of it, you know this is the triple dollar sign of perfumes and matched with its longevity that is like what God promised us Christians: eternal life--in this case scent. The bottle's price is worth it! Not even kidding.

1. Versace Versense

As what Versace website describes Versense:

Versense expresses perfectly the fusion of freshness and sensuality. the name of the perfume suggests a promise for the senses. The color of the fragrance brings to mind a sense of nature. It evokes freedom of open spaces, the energy of revitalization and balance of the senses. The perfume is fresh and intoxicating. It is inspired by nature's elements and dedicated to confident, vital and sensual women.

This is the ultimate perfume for the ultimate classy woman. This is where vintage perfume meets its sophisticated counterpart. Versense takes you to  the walk of a lifetime in your garden. If The Secret Garden has a scent, it would be Versense. So far this is the only perfume that only takes me to a new world full of flowers every time I spray this on. The scent is very romantic but not girly, very sexy in the most conservative way. If ever you spray this on and won't give you the experience of the lifetime for your senses--you better get them checked. Its longevity doesn't last that long but the scent gives it justice, its scent is just utterly pleasant to the nose.

1. Givenchy Gentlemen Only

As what www.sephora.com describes Givenchy Gentlemen Only:

Givenchy introduces Gentlemen Only for the distinguished man of today. His natural, refined elegance is a reflection of the times.

This fragrance embodies the essential virtues of being a gentleman: courtesy, elegance, and chivalry. It is modern yet timeless, capturing the essence of a man who is witty, intelligent, and exceeds effortlessly in all aspects of life. A state of mind, a way of being a gentleman under all circumstances.

Gentlemen Only is a distinct, deliberate, and charming fragrance. It is deliciously disconcerting with its blend of freshness, sensuality, and masculine qualities. A fragrance for a man of taste—a fragrance for a gentleman.

Notes:
Green Mandarin, Pink Pepper, Nutmeg, Birch Leaf, Cedarwood Texas, Heart Of Patchouli, Vetiver, Incense.
Style:
Distinct. Deliberate. Charming.

This is my favorite scent as of the moment, the reason why I love this is because I like the scent so much that it stained a part of my brain. To be honest, even when I go to sleep I still smell it in my head even though I'm not wearing it and since my nightstand is far enough to make me stand to get something there; so there's no chance the bottle is somehow hovering over my nose--I know it sounds lame but it is what it is. I love its scent because it is very strong yet pleasant and the after smell reminds me of Christian Grey soaked in expensive shower gels and Mr. Grey sweat--it is that HOT! If I ever have a boyfriend, I would recommend him to wear this because it is like the vanilla scent for men, except it doesn't even have vanilla in it--EXACTLY! Its longevity lasts like 5-6 hours later and gradually the scent becomes lighter and even smells better!
