I
apologize for having not posted this yesterday (February 28, 2016)
because we had our annual JPSME
Sports fest
and I was one of the participants. I've decided that if I forget to post on a Sunday, expect that I'll be able to upload it on a Wednesday. By default, I played volleyball
and it was such a triumphant experience for us because we won the
most coveted spot against the defending champs; and by the time I
got home, I was drained to the extent where I can't even open my
eyes anymore, I was even half asleep while commuting and conversing
with friends. I even thought I could be an extra from the Walking
Dead zombie squad.
The reason why I was sleepless and less productive last Sunday is
because we were having an all-nighter with my friends; remember my
Instagram
post? The one with
beers and buffalo wings?
Yes, that was the reason why I slept at about 2am and with that and
having to wake up at 5am—which is three hours later—was a
complete struggle. I was even contemplating on drinking a red
bull
but I stop myself because for me, red bull against a hangover
is not my type of instant remedy—and
it also makes me nervous and dizzy. Even having to recount that
memory in this blog post makes me tired, but seeing the outfit in
this post gives me a temporary taste of
relaxation.
I miss the feeling of wearing loose, airy clothes in the summer, I
miss the warm embrace of the sea breeze—even the summer-inspired
filter on Snapchat
gives me that chill vibes. Sigh, fast forward to summer please;
thank God my two months off of school will be well-spent because
I'll be traveling again to exotic locations and I can't wait to
share it to you friends, so hopefully, a month later, all my blog
posts will gradually become all about the places I will travel this
summer and I hope I can also take OOTDs
on
those places; but before the fun fiasco, to all my readers who are
still in
college,
we have something in common that we all have to pass through before
we can officially celebrate summer, the most dreaded judgment day:
Finals.
I hate to break it to you, but it is our reality; just be easy on
yourself and think about the fact that you're not the only one who
experiences such a, miserable—if you're failing like me—thing.
Before I let you go, one message though: study, or even harder, so
that you can enjoy summer like how it should be enjoyed.
