This is what I wore to my friend's 18th birthday, her theme was Greek Goddess and the women have to wear their best Greek-inspired outfit and men, in turn, has to sport not gods but suits and bow ties to accompany ethereal ladies in their respective thrones.
At first, I've had second thoughts about the dress code for the men because it was, in any aspect, not ancient Greek-inspired but what kept me excited was this whole ensemble in my head which comprises of a black blazer, sleek leather pants, and a dress shoes.
When I tried the outfit the night before, I was very uneasy wearing it because of two reasons: first, it was very provocative and I felt completely and utterly under-dressed. I felt like I was some kind of this seductive, dark, mysterious goddess seducing immortal and mortal men alike--I'm like the merging point of Peithos', Nyx's, and Despoina's characteristic;
And second, It wasn't Greek at all and I really don't want to feel out-of-place because as what I perceived my outfit to be was it kind of looked like Grammy-esque and it just doesn't seem right so I decided to crown myself a laurel wreath to seal the gap between ancient and modern Greece.

When I told my creative team about wearing a gold laurel wreath to top the whole outfit--It was already the day of the event and like four hours before it will start, and they said they can't do it because there's no time so what I did was to take matters in my own hands; I searched for aluminum strings, harvested left-over leaves from the flower arrangements for Christmas Eve, gathered my art materials, and started the whole thing. It was suppose to be gold but since I don't have a gold spray paint and going out to buy one just shortens my time to finish the project and such a cost of money, I just leave it to its original color. So guys if you want to know how I did it just let me know through the comment section below.

AFTER PARTY OUTFIT
Again, as what I've mentioned above, I felt under-dressed wearing the blazer alone so what I did in our after-party was to wear a tank-top underneath it to tone down it's provocativeness and besides I don't want to go out partying wave my hands up in the air like I just don't care and waking up hangover with a picture of me in Facebook--nip-slipped and drunk asf.
