Hypes On Lookbook

Every fashion netizen knows what "Lookbook" is and is probably a part of this fast growing fashion community. Some of us might be really confused why we don't get as much hypes as we see on the "Hot Looks" list. I used to divert my attention to why I don't get as much hypes as what I've expected. Then I concluded that maybe I'm ugly enough for their taste, or too fat for their standard body size, or just playing too safe with fashion, and or maybe not wearing high-end piece of clothing—which probably, at some point, any of them is true.
For me, the essence of Lookbook is like that of Instagram: sharing photos for the world to know, but this time outfits. We aim to share our view points of the fashion world throughout the internet in photos; some want to pursue Lookbook for fame and that's the most ridiculous thing goal-driven people can ever imagine. Fame is the new iPhone: Everyone wants a piece of it. Hype doesn't define your outfit; I believe the name of your outfit defines it more than the latter. I'm not hype-hungry because my life doesn't run that way—I mean, who survives with just hypes? Lookbook defines itself as: The #1 source for fashion inspiration from real people around the world. So basically it is for inspiration not for fame. Hypes are not satisfactory for "real" people, I think being able to inspire someone is the best feeling you can ever achieve in your journey through Lookbook.
Hypes or likes, may be it on Facebook or Instagram, doesn't matter. Do what you came there for, and I believe anyone has a realistic goal in that deepest part of his/her heart that want it to be pursued. If you're gonna reach the highest peak of Fame it is then you realize that there's nothing in there but just a vast space of emptiness—and Endless Birkins... NO, Seriously—and most famous people are afraid of heights, that's why they're afraid to jump and just die famous.
